A touch of Sinatra

Yesterday it was my house-mate, Beth's 21st birthday. To celebrate a group of about 16 of us went out for dinner.
We went to a restaurant called Sinatra, i've walked past it nearly everytime I walk back from town and have always wanted to go in.
It did not disappoint!
We went for the set menu which included a glass of champagne and 3 courses;

The restaurant itself had a lovely feel of old fashioned class about it, with pictures of famous actors and actresses all over the wall, big mirrors and classic music pumping quietly throughout the room.

  We were greeted with a glass of pink bubbly and had to make the difficult decision of picking out courses.

I had the Goats cheese en croute for starter, lovely gooey goats cheese on a crisp piece of toast and the rocket and beetroot salad complimented it really well

Pork Tenderloin with dauphinoise potatoes, red cabbage and a toffee apple and clove jus. The pork was tender and crispy on the outside, and dauphinoise potates are always good. Such a tasty dish which I would happily eat again.

Sticky Toffee Pudding. So so yummy! The pudding was light and warm and moist and everything you could wish of a sticky toffee pudding and the sauce was rich and sweet and sugary. Nothing wrong in any way shape or form!

So after leaving the restaurant feeling full and very happy, we ran back to the cars in the rain and came back to play a very competitive game of Articulate (the girls won :) ).
A lovely evening at a restaurant I would thouroghly recomend with some of my favourite people and a nice break from revision!
